Finance Supervisor

 



Position Information  



Company  Samsung Information Systems America, Inc. (SISA)
Location  San Jose, CA



Description  



Common Essential
Duties & Resp.   • Provide financial support for the Corp R&D organization
• Operating plan, Quarterly forecast updates and related financial analysis.
• Define and track appropriate metrics including analysis of completed projects.
• Further develop project accounting including new labs.
• Internal and external reporting (working with the Accounting team)
• Oversight of corporate tax functions
• Oversight of overall month – end closing activities

Necessary Skills /
Attributes   • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or similar area required; MBA and/or CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years' experience.
• Experience with SAP is highly preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
• Excellent technical knowledge of financial statements and financial analysis techniques.
• Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills to interact with all levels of an organization
• Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities
