QUALIFICATIONS
Post-Secondary – 2 years minimum (technical school, university or trade certificate, or a minimum of 3 years Production Operation supervision experience).
Able to read, write and speak English fluently
Able to lead team members and assign work orders
Able to recognize, evaluate and lead employee performance Leadership and management training.
Able to communicate with internal company personnel and external vendors effectively
Able to make routine decisions within a predetermined scope of authority
Proficiency software systems. eg: SAP, Word, Xls, power point etc,
Basic POLYMER Courses (ABS, PPS, HIPS, SAN, etc).
Working Conditions
Exposure to heights, noise, extreme weather conditions, and areas where hazardous chemicals are present
Must be able to work all shifts / schedules as needed
Ability to adapt to changing situations and to handle competing demands with flexibility
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, kneel, stoop, sit, walk extensively

EXPERIENCE
Ten or more years' experience in ABS or Polymer production operations environment, with 3 or more years in a DCS Operator role.

Pada saat ini Burung Indonesia membutuhkan tenaga muda yang bersemangat dan enerjik untuk menjadi bagian dari tim studi lapangan burung dan keanekaragaman hayati di lokasi-lokasi kerja Burung Indonesia di Kawasan Wallacea, dengan posisi Junior Ecologist.

Lokasi kerja

Kawasan Wallacea: Sulawesi, Maluku Utara, Nusa Tenggara.

Gambaran umum pekerjaan

Merancang dan melaksanakan survei status, populasi, sebaran, habitat dan aspek ekologi jenis-jenis burung dan keanekaragman hayati kunci. Pekerjaan tersebut selain membutuhkan komitmen kuat untuk bekerja lebih banyak di lapangan, juga memerlukan kemampuan survei fauna dan vegetasi serta analisis data.

Kualifikasi

1. Sarjana di bidang Biologi, Kehutanan, Ilmu Lingkungan, Pengelolaan Sumber Daya Alam atau bidang lain yang relevan; fresh graduate lebih diutamakan;

2. Memiliki dasar-dasar pengetahuan dan metodologi dalam pengamatan dan inventarisasi satwa liar dan inventarisasi/eksplorasi tumbuhan;

3. Diutamakan yang telah memiliki pengalaman dalam kegiatan penelitian keanekaragaman hayati di Indonesia;

4. Mahir mengoperasikan program komputer MS Office dan program analisis data yang berkaitan dengan survei keanekaragaman hayati;

5. Mampu bekerja secara mandiri dan bekerjasama dalam tim. Energik, kreatif, mampu bekerja di bawah tekanan, berkemauan kuat untuk belajar, dan dapat beradaptasi cepat di lingkungan yang baru atau terpencil;

6. Fasih berbahasa Inggris, diutamakan memiliki tanda bukti dari International English Language Testing System (IELTS), Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) atau sistem lain dan melampirkannya dalam surat lamaran.
