Sydney Naik Roller Coaster
Keponakan saya, Sydney, baru saja
berulang tahun yang ketiga. Sydney adalah anak adik bungsu saya. Ia
dilahirkan dan tinggal di Amerika, namun ia sekarang sudah berbicara
dalam 3 bahasa. Sebagai hadiah ulang tahun Oomnya (adik saya yang
kedua) membawanya naik Roller Coaster sebagai pengalaman pertamanya.
Kami sudah merencanakan akan sedini mungkin mengajarkan Six Thinking
Hats® kepada Sydney, dan pengalaman tersebut kami olah menjadi bahan
pelajaran untuknya. Kami membentuknya menjadi percakapan biasa dan
berupa tanya jawab. Tentu saja kami sudah merencanakan jenis pertanyaan yang akan kami tanyakan kepadanya. Semua pertanyaan mengarah kepada
penggunaan masing-masing topi berwarna. (Catatan: Bahasa yang kami
gunakan adalah bahasa Inggris, namun tulisan untuk pertanyaan dan
jawaban di bawah sudah saya terjemahkan ke dalam bahasa Indonesia).
Demikian kami mengajaknya berdiskusi dan semoga bisa menjawab beberapa pertanyaan yang di-email-kan kepada saya dari beberapa orang tua yang menanyakan cara mengajarkan Six Thinking
Hats® kepada anak-anak mereka.
 
Percakapan dengan Sydney
Penggunaan Topi Merah
Mama: "Bagaimana perasaan Sydney saat diajak naik Roller Coaster oleh Oom?"
Sydney: "Sydney senang sekali. Sydney
sudah melihat roller coaster di TV, tapi Sydney ingin mencoba sendiri.
Tapi Sydney juga takut karena roller coaster cepat sekali."
 
Penggunaan Topi Putih
Papa: "Apa yang kamu lihat saat antri naik roller coaster tadi?
Sydney: "Saat antri Sydney melihat
banyak anak kecil seperti Sydney yang juga diantar papa mamanya. Mereka duduk dengan papa atau mamanya. Tapi Sydney duduk dengan Pek-Pek
(Panggilan dia untuk Oomnya dan asal tahu aja, Pek-Pek adalah orang
yang paling dipercaya dan disayang Sydney). Mama duduk di depan."
Papa: "Apalagi yang Sydney lihat?"
Sydney: "Sydney lihat semua harus
menunjukkan kertas kecil kepada Bapak berkumis di dekat pintu masuk.
Pintu masuknya bisa berputar-putar."
Papa: "Kertas kecil itu namanya karcis masuk. Bapak berkumis itu adalah penjaga pintu masuk."
Mama: "Apa yang Sydney dengar?"
Sydney: "Sydney dengar ada anak yang
menangis ketakutan, dia bilang dia tidak suka roller coaster dan ingin
segera turun. Ada juga yang berteriak seperti Sydney."
Oom: "Masih lihat apalagi?"
Sydney: "Waktu di atas Sydney lihat papa, bentuknya kecil sekali. Papa melambai-lambai dan foto-foto kita semua."
 
Penggunaan Topi Kuning
Papa: "Mengapa kamu tidak mau duduk dengan Mama waktu naik roller coaster? Kok malah kamu pilih duduk dengan Pek-Pek?"
Sydney: "Sydney lebih ingin duduk dengan Pek-Pek, karena Pek-Pek bilang akan bersama Sydney terus menerus, jadi Sydney tidak perlu takut lagi."
Om: "Sekarang Sydney sudah pernah naik roller coaster. Apa gunanya naik roller coaster buat Sydney?"
Sydney: "Sdyney akan cerita dengan Andy
dan Melissa waktu masuk sekolah nanti. Mereka pasti akan kagum dengan
Sydney. Sydney akan kasih tahu roller coaster itu fun dan tidak
menakutkan."
 
Penggunaan Topi Hitam
Papa: "Apakah Sydney mau naik roller coaster sendiri?"
Sydney: "Tidak mau, Papa"
Papa: "Mengapa?"
Sdyney: "Sydney bisa saja ketakutan di atas kalau tidak ada Pek-Pek atau Mama bersama Sydney."
Mama: "Kalo Sydney naik roller coaster
sendiri tanpa Papa atau Mama atau Pek-Pek, bila roller coaster rusak
dan Sydney masih di atas, siapa yang akan menolong menurunkan Sydney?
Makanya anak-anak harus selalu ditemani orang tua mereka kalau ingin
naik roller coaster."
Papa: "Kita juga tidak boleh tiap minggu main roller coaster, karena biayanya mahal dan nanti Sydney juga akan cepat bosan."
Oom: "Masih ingat Pek-Pek suruh jangan
makan banyak-banyak sebelum naik roller coaster? Itu untuk mencegah
Sydney muntah di atas, karena pergerakannya sangat cepat dan
naik-turun, orang gampang muntah bila perut terlalu kenyang."
 
Penggunaan Topi Biru
Papa: "Apakah Sydney masih ingin naik roller coaster?"
Sydney: "Mau dong, Papa."
Oom: "Kamu mau duduk dengan siapa?"
Syney: "Masih dengan Pek-Pek."
 
Penjelasan
Demikianlah sepenggal pembicaraan Sydney dengan orang tua dan oomnya yang memang sudah saya susunkan untuk
memperkenalkan konsep Six Thinking Hats kepada keponakan saya sedari
usia dini. Tidak sekalipun kami menggunakan kata Topi Merah, Topi Putih atau kata topi berwarna lainnya. Karena hanya membuat anak seusia itu
bingung. Namun kami telah mengajarkan kepada Sydney konsep:
* Perasaan yang dirasakannya
* Informasi yang dilihat dan didengar
* Manfaat ia melakukan suatu hal
* Hal-hal yang harus diwaspadai (konsep bahaya)
* Pemilihan dan pengambilan keputusan
Sebagai catatan tambahan: kita juga
tidak perlu menggunakan keseluruhan enam warna topi untuk suatu topik.
Lihatlah di atas saya tidak menggunakan Topi Hijau, karena Sydney baru
berusia 3 tahun, kemampuan dia untuk mencari ide baru untuk topik naik
roller coaster ini masih terbatas. Saya tidak ingin membebani dia
dengan beban yang melebihi kemampuan berpikir dia di usia sedini itu.
Buanglah jauh-jauh pikiran untuk memacu
potensi anak dengan memberi mereka soal yang sulit-sulit, dengan
anggapan bila mereka bisa mengerjakan yang sulit, maka soal yang
gampang otomatis akan terselesaikan dengan sendirinya. Anak hanya akan
menikmati pelajaran berpikir dalam suasana yang menyenangkan dan dalam
porsi yang bisa dipahami mereka. BERPIKIR ITU MENYENANGKAN!

Product characterization, product qualification, yield analysis and yield improvement for New Product Introductions and margin improvement of existing products.



 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

 

The Product Engineer has responsibility for new product introduction.  This includes:  product characterization, product qualification, yield analysis, and yield improvement.  You will be managing projects, project teams and individuals.  This individual will have experience with reliability testing, methodologies, basic failure analysis principles and techniques, automated test equipment, wafer sort and final test.  The Product Engineer is an independent problem solver and team player working in a highly dynamic environment.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

·         BSEE/MSEE plus eight years of product engineering experience. 
·         Yield analysis software/database experience.
·         Ability to demonstrate knowledge of statistical capabilities.
·         Proven ownership for at least one product line.
·         Experience with CMOS basics and device physics including BiCMOS.
·         Knowledge with high voltage device physics including DMOS planar technology.
·         Experience with high voltage, high power testing.
·         Ability to work in a high volume production environment.  
·         Bench setups and evaluations of semiconductors.  
·         Demonstrate ability as a problem solver. 
·         Clear written and verbal communication skills.
