Position based in Jakarta reporting to the Project Director with field and
site visits as required.
Responsible for all coordination aspects related to quality assurance (QA)
and quality control (QC) for the Phase 2 Offshore Development Projects:

Principal Duties & responsibilities:

a. Review, comment, and provide input to approval of bids for EPCC contracts
for Offshore Projects including pre-qualification and technical review and
contract award for the engineering, procurement, construction, and
installation of the wellhead platform B (WHP-B), compressor platform and
accommodation utilities platform (CPP and AUP), power generation and
compression equipment, subsea pipelines, pipeline manufacturing, and
modifications to existing wellhead platform A.
b. Approve main contractors' and subcontractors' procedures and
documentation with regard to procurement of bulk materials, equipment,
instrumentation, piping, and equipment for compliance to project quality
requirements
Responsible for the coordination of Inspection Services Contracts for
Indonesia (full-time, multiple locations onshore and offshore) and overseas
(as required). Indonesia inspectors will number around 25-30 at the peak of
the project.
a. Direct control and coordination of Inspection Services (Call-out)
Contracts :
1) PT Indospec ( WHP-B; WHP-A modifications)
2) PT Surveyor Indonesia (CPP;AUP; Offshore Installation)
3) 3rd Party Agency overseas as required in Holland, Korea, and
Singapore
b. Manpower forecasting and planning for inspectors
c. Assigning inspectors for all disciplines (welding/NDE, painting, HSE,
vendor, pipeline, electrical, instrumentation, structural, rotating
equipment)
d. Specialty overseas inspection contracts (i.e. valve inspections)
e. Provide oversight for all inspectors' job performance at the fabrication
sites and manufacturing sites in Indonesia and overseas.
f. Supervise Lead Inspectors at main fabrication sites. Responsible for
coordination of MIGAS Certification Services for SKKP, SKPI, SKPP) and
F.A.T. inspections (BPMIGAS/MIGAS) Technical Specialist to provide
input/answers to Project Management on issues related to material selection,
corrosion, failure analyses, and/or welding. Responsible for input for
vendor/manufacturer technical queries (TQs).

Requirements:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Experience: 10-15 Years of experience in a similar project
- Excellent business process skills in the Oil and Gas industry; and
some experience in training individuals on new technology and processes.
- Ability to speak and write fluently in English is a must.

POSITION IN ORGANISATION
·         Reports to the Country Director
