PLANT CONTROLLER
(Central / East Java )
 
The incumbent will have matrix reporting line to local and regional office. The position will be located in Central / East Java.
   
Overall responsibilities framework
·         Develop, analyze and communicate annual manufacturing cost budget for plant standard and non standard costs
·         Guide the local & Regional mfg Finance Lead by timely and accurate tracking and reporting of manufacturing costs and variances to support achievement of costs and business profitability targets
·         Provide leadership in achieving strong compliance and controls in the manufacturing environment
·         Be an active contributor to the manufacturing and finance community
 
Cost Accounting
1.    Implement processes for monthly forecasting and reporting of cost of goods manufactured (COGM), cost of goods sold (COGS) and non-standard cost (NSC);
2.    Define key cost drivers and manufacturing variables to be monitored at consolidated AP and country levels on monthly basis;
3.    Ensure that yearly forecast are well grounded and aligned with monthly actual and projections for the year to go;
4.    Maintain cost accounting records for the company;
5.    Collaborate with logistic team to maintain good inventory control and management in all locations, including periodic seed obsolescence review;
6.    Establish and maintain cost accounting system according to company standards;
7.    Perform Cost analysis on periodic basic, i.e. track overheads and alert on variance:
8.    Lead cost budget & monthly review process;
9.    Make sure cost are properly maintained in accounting system, i.e. establish BOM at budget standard cost, make adjustment after season end;
10. Implement and maintain system to ensure full database for seed production;
11. Process and control purchases/expenses in the Field & Plant, i.e. main focus on Growers¢ payment;
12. Liaise with tax bureau in compliance with the local policies;
13. Be responsible for fixed assets management, i.e. proper approval process in acquisition & payment, annual budget and monthly forecast, maintain FA register & perform periodic physical count;
14. Manage treasury and banking operations in the Plant;
15. Maintain evergreen reconciliations on a monthly basis of all GL accounts under responsibility;
16.  Assume responsibility for leading effort in all audits pertaining to activities of Plant and for overall seed inventory in Indonesia.
 
OTHER AREAS
1.    Ensure proper preparation of monthly working hours of seasonal workers, worksheet is properly approved by Seed Supply Operation Manager before sending to HR for payment arrangement;
2.    Participate in the preparation and coordination of monthly, annual and other periodic reports to the Regional Seed Operation Lead to ensure all reporting requirements are met;
3.    Establish appropriate internal controls in all operations in Central/East Java;
4.    Be responsible for educating and assisting colleagues in setting up proper procedures, improve efficiency and produce adequate reporting;
5.    Better leverage SAP and Business intelligence capabilities for enhancing reporting accuracy.

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
 
The main purpose of the job is to ensure that the company¢s operations in all sectors are accurately recorded in financial terms, timely reported and all Manual Journals are documented properly. The incumbent will have key relationship with external; Auditor, customers, vendors, banks, consultants and tax office, internal; department¢s Lead and manager within Indonesia organization COE- Asia Pasific, SSC in India, Finance Controller in Asia Pasific, External Reporting and Tax in USA and Treasury. This position will be reporting to Finance Controller.
 
Key Responsibilities;

General Ledger Analysis; responsible for preparation accounts reconciliation / schedule of monthly balance sheet reconciliation of all accounts except AR, AP, employee advance/loan, inventory and manufacturing fixed assets.
·         Manual journals and documentation.  Coordinate collecting and filling of Manual Journals document of all finance teams and to ensure all manual journals are properly approved and supported by reliable and accurate data.
·         Reporting.   Liaise with  COE (Center of Excellence) on the preparation of monthly, annual and other periodic reports included tax report both for internal and external submission to ensure all reporting requirements are met.  
·         SAP.   To continue explore SAP financial module are utilized in the most efficient / effective manner to gain accurate and timely report of all transactions.
·         Internal Control.   Responsible for the internal control implementation in General Accounting process, and ensuring that all company assets are properly recorded
·         Safety.  To work with care and consideration for your own health and safety and the health and safety of others and to actively participate in the office safety programs.
Required Skills:
·         Education: bachelor degree or college graduate with minimum years experienced.
·         Excellent verbal and written communications skills. (English and Indonesia)
