CALL FOR PAPERS (CFP) - MAKALAH KONFERENSI

Theme: "Beyond Physical Capital: Addressing the Role of Human and Social
Capital in the Economic Growth of Indonesia."

The conference accepts academic papers and business plans/ideas. Faculty
members, researchers, business people, or anyone interested in this
conference are all invited.

The conference invites individuals or organizations to present papers and
business plans on the basis of research that addresses Indonesia's
development. The papers should address some issues pertaining to the
multidimensional aspects of Indonesia's development. Topics surrounding
innovative strategies and methods that can contribute to the improvement of
Indonesia-US relationships and Indonesian education system are highly
encouraged.

Examples of topics to be considered include but not limited to:

1. Improving human capital investment:

a. Reshaping policies and practices in health and education
b. Nurturing human capital via advancement in industry and technology
c. Roles of religion and cultural traditions in improving the
components of human capital

2. Investment in social capital:

a. Structural issues in laws and its enforcement with respect to good
governance, anti-corruption, and banking system
b. The importance of market regulations and its implementation in
business and labor markets
c. Improving social capital through strengthening cultures:
cooperation, trust, reciprocity, and interfaith cooperation.
d. Establishing intellectual property rights to promote ideas,
innovation, research and development as well as nurturing entrepreneurship
e. The functions of religious institutions in promoting social
stability

The conference provides a forum where broad ideas of how to help Indonesia
fare well in the globalized economy are exchanged and discussed. It is
expected that the meeting would inspire attendees with regard to the
potential roles they may want to play in this globalized world.

The conference also provides a forum for entrepreneurs to showcase their
business ideas, plans, and products to Indonesian and international
audience. We accept any types of proposed business plan, provided that
the business is legal.

We hope that the meeting would motivate, and even initiate further business
cooperation among Indonesians, Americans, and international participants.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION:

Submitted abstract should have no more than 250 words and should include
research problem, methodology, facts and findings.

FULL PAPER SUBMISSION:

The paper should be written in English, typed, double-spaced, using 12
point Times New Roman font, on standards-sized paper (8.5" x 11") with 1
inch margins on all sides. Please maintain consistency with your preferred
citation style. The length of the paper should be between 3000-5000 words."

Terima kasih atas informasi yang diberikan.
Nilai saya masih di bawah 500, karenanya saya ingin ambil ITP lagi. Tetapi
ketika mau daftar, petugasnya bilang nanti nunggu 1 bulan karena
peraturannya tidak boleh 2x dalam bulan yang sama.

hai teman2.. sejauh pengamatan saya, selama ini beasiswa s2 ke luar negeri selalu diperuntukkan bagi jurusan2 ilmu eksakta. Sejatinya ada ga sih? beasiswa s2 keluar negeri atau minimal pertukaran pelajar yang diperuntukkan bagi mahasiswa pada jurusan ilmu agama.
misalnya sperti saya, salah seorang mahasiswa yang sedang belajar di Fakultas Syariah (hukum Islam) di IAIN Walisongo Semarang.

I am seeking two highly motivated PhD students who would like to conduct research at the interface of behavioral ecology and biological control. Both PhD theses will be concerned with early learning in plant-inhabiting predatory mites studying its proximate mechanisms, ultimate benefits and costs and possible implications to biological control.

Both PhD positions are embedded in a 3 -years research project funded by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) (http://www.fwf.ac.at) and paid according to FWF salary scheme.
Basic requirement for successful application is a Masters, Diploma or Magister degree in a study conveying comprehensive knowledge in ecology, behavior, evolution, entomology, zoology and/or biological control. In an ideal case, applicants have experience in experimental work with mites and/or insects in the laboratory,a keen interest in behavioral ecology, eagerness to multi- and inter-disciplinary thinking, and advanced English skills.

The student project involves the synthesis and characterization of metal oxide
nanostructures for their use as components in functional devices. The

Mohon share dari rekan-rekan. Saya mendapatkan
email dari Master Risk & Emergency Management at IUSS Pavia-Italy. Ada
beberapa hal yang saya harap rekan yang sudah pengalaman atau mengetahui
hal-hal sebagai berikut;
1.    saya dikirimi official admission letter, together with
the enrolment form to be returned no later than June 30, 2013. Awardnya 9,000 Euro gross,
saya diminta untuk bayar 20% dari jumlah tersebut sebagai Participation Fees
(PF). Tanpa penjelasan maksudnya, apakah ini semacam tanda jadi?. Lalu jika
disebut 9,000 Euro gross, berarti yang 20% PF ini bisa kembali?.
2.    Pada penjelasan
tentang beasiswa yang discover mereka menyebutkan sebagai berikut
For the 2013/2014 academic year, there are three different types of
scholarships available for the highest ranking applicants:
·               Living expenses +
accommodation and tuition fee waivers
·               Accommodation and

·               Tuition fee waivers
Karena suratnya tidak menyebutkan Type
yang mana yang saya dapat, hanya dengan jumlah 9,000 Euro tersebut, kira-kira
masuk kotegori yang mana ya?. Apakah dengan jumlah segitu untuk ukuran
Italy/Eropa rata-rata hanya untuk tuition fees?.
3.    3. Mohon juga share
jika ada yang pengalaman menghadapi 2 pilian (Beasiswa VS Married) mana yang
duluan or syukur2 ada yang pengalaman mengambil ke22nya.
4.    4. Saya akan menanyakan
kepada alamat korespondent yang mereka cantumkan, namun kurang lengkap jika
tidak mendapat masukan dari rekan-rekan.
5.    5. engingat ini adalah
kesempatan yang memenuhi 90% keinginan saya; Negara none English native dan
Bidang Management Bencana yang saya mau, maka masukan rekan-rekan sangat saya
hargai. Saya hanya diberi waktu 20 hari untuk member jawaban atas kesempatan

Setahu saya, kalau di UI beasiswa S1 ada sangat banyak. Jadi mbak daftar dan diterima di perguruan tingginya dulu habis itu baru apply untuk beasiswanya.

Thanks mba Anindita dan Mba Putri,

Sebetulnya november tahun lalu sy apply S2 international class nya Todai, MEM program. Sy sudah dapat profesor di Biomaterial Eng, Tokyo univ, sebenarnya program ini cukup "enak", krena interntional program, jd ga pake research student+pengntarnya bhs Ingris. Beasiswa ini termasuk MEXT U2U, jadi sy pake rekomendasi dari Kajur saya di ITB. Tapi sayang gagal dpt beassiwanya.

So, LOA yg sy dapat kemarein sy pake lagi untuk LPDP. Ternyata, klo mau masuk tahun ini via LPDP menggunakan LOA yg sudah sy dapat, sy harus lewat jalur reguler (research student dulu, tidak bisa masuk ke kls international). Klo mau masuk ke kelas internatioanl harus selksi lagi tahun depan, mulai registrasi dr awal. Makanya saya menanyakan kemungkinan bisa ga LPDP mengcoover research student period. buat worst case aja sih, makanya saya butuh info, semoga saja berdasarkan hasil pengumuman tanggal 17 nanti akan ada info lebih jelasnya, terutama yang bisa dapet S2 dengan research student terlebih dahulu.

Overall, terimakasih banyak atas masukannya,smoga stelah tanggal 17 ada yg ngeshare hasil selksinya.
