Bonsey Design Partnership ( BDP ) specialises in building brands for clients that need to move the needle in their markets. It is a team of independent brand architects based in Singapore. BDP is dedicated to building iconic brands with sustainable impact. BDP helps its clients engage, adapt and stay relevant in the growing markets of Asia.
 
BDP is looking for a Business Development to develop business through focused attention in key areas of business development as detailed below :
Business Development Manager

Responsibilities:
a)  Finding of new clients
b)  The 'farming' and continued 'cultivation' of existing contacts with the objective of converting them
     to clients, and the development of new contacts within current clients.
c)  The response to requests for information or proposals.
 
Primary Accountabilities :
* Incumbent will be working with existing database and maintain contact with all relevant potential clients using suitable opportunities to promote the services of BPD.
* He/she will works with Singapore Managing Director on their plan to visit Indonesia, source and set up suitable meetings with potential clients to offer presentation opportunities.
* Respons to request for proposals by attending any relevant briefing meetings, working with Singapore team to prepare both presentations and proposals, positioning BDP as the supplier of choice and winning business.
* To liaise closely with Programme Manager in Singapore to ensure project is managed smoothly and delivered to time and to budget.
* Working with the existing BDP database, make and maintain contact with all relevant potential clients using suitable opportunities to promote the services of BDP. Ensure that the database is maintained up to date, reflecting business and personnel changes in the market.
* Look to continuously add to the database of potential clients, in conjunction with the Singapore office where appropriate, sourcing new leads from all available options.
* Working with the Singapore Managing Director's planned visits to Indonesia, source and set up suitable meetings with potential clients to offer presentation opportunities.
* Follow up all presentations made with a targeted proposal for actual work where such a potential exists – working with the Singapore team to create an attractive and profitable offer. Where no proposal is needed, maintain a regular follow up as relevant.
Requirements:
* Candidate must possess sales experiences in the service industry, business to-business.
* Preferably with background in a creative environment.
* Proactive, positive, personable and social with strong intellect.
* Determined, focus on results and able to close a project with firm understanding on its profitable delivery at the highest possible quality.
* Confident in personal abilities.
