Hi Rara...
Mengenai besar-nya biaya hidup / bln tergantung dari jenis beasiswanya. Klo Fulbright, biaya hidup per bulan tiap2 penerima tergantung dari state dimana kita bakal tinggal. Sepertinya range yg kutau antara $1200 - 2000 / bln (udh termasuk smw-nya kyk apartment rent, grocery, dll).

Yang penting jalani Master dulu, lalu dapatkan PhD position. Kalau sudah
menjalani PhD, bisa mulai bangun network untuk Postdoc dst. sampai
permanent position.. Pasti ada jalan. :-)

Itu milis yang lebih tepat untuk bertukar paper, daripada milis beasiswa
ini.

saya sedang mendaftar program Chevening melalui sistem aplikasi onlinenya,
sudah mendapatkan username, namun dalam proses pengisian data diri, selalu
kembali dengan notifikasi "You have been directed here because the Web Site
has encountered a problem. Please click on the Logon button below to
re-login". Saat re-login pun, semua data yang telah terisi hilang, dan
selalu muncul notifikasi tersebut sehingga saya belum berhasil memasukkan
data secara lengkap. Saya telah mencoba pengisian dengan berbagai web
browser (Firefox, Chrome, Safari) dan di waktu yang berbeda-beda, namun
selalu terkendala hal yang sama.
Apakah ada teman yang mengalami hal sama dan punya solusi untuk hal ini?

Roberto Rocca Fellowships
Founded in 2005 to promote the study of engineering and the applied sciences, the Roberto Rocca Education Program is sponsored by the Tenaris, Ternium and Techint companies. The Program is named in honor of Roberto Rocca, the late Chairman of the Techint Group.
Award details
Fellowships are awarded for a period of two years and may be used for tuition, fees and living expenses. The award amount will depend on the candidate's financial need but in general candidates are encouraged to seek complementary sources of funding. There will be approximately 12-15 Scholarships available in 2013.
Who can apply?
The Fellowships are open to citizens of Argentina, Colombia, Brazil, Indonesia, Mexico, Romania and Venezuela who will enter a Ph.D. program in 2013 or who are already undertaking a Ph.D. at a university outside their own country.
Fellowships are granted to students who will or are pursuing a Ph.D. in Materials Science, Mechanical, Metallurgical and Petroleum Engineering and whose research offers potential benefits to the steel industry.
How to apply
Applications for the Fellowships must be submitted via the on-line Fellowship application on the Roberto Rocca Education Program's website.
The deadline for applications is December 14, 2012. Fellowship winners will be announced in April 2013.
