I understand that you are concern about the availability of Indonesia Rupiah (IDR) in PayPal system.
Unfortunately, IDR currency is not supported in our system. At PayPal, we are always considering developing new features and we appreciate your request. Here's how you can view the supported currencies and learn more about Multiple Currencies.
- Go to www.paypal.com and click "Worldwide" at the bottom on the page.
- Click "24 currencies" next to "Localized."
The following guidelines apply to sending, receiving and withdrawing funds in multiple currencies through PayPal.
PayPal's Multiple Currencies feature allows all members to send, and receive payments in all PayPal's supported currencies* as long as they have met all of the requirements to send and receive payments through PayPal.
- If your funding source is in a different currency than the payment you wish to send, PayPal will convert the funds for you at the time you request the payment
- If you do not have a balance open for the currency of the payment you receive, you can choose to open that balance or request PayPal to convert the funds to one of your current balances
All members can withdraw the funds in their account balances to the bank account they have listed on their PayPal account, as long as they have met all of the requirements to withdraw funds through PayPal.
- If the bank account they have listed is denominated in a different currency than the funds in their balances, the funds will automatically be converted to the correct currency of their bank account at the time they request the withdrawal
