Purpose
- To plan, supervise and coordinate all Maintenance activities for Company Plant Electrical equipment, to ensure availability and reliability.
Main Accountabilities
- To plan and carry out Predictive/Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) programs like Dissolved gas analysis, Partial Discharge test, etc for condition monitoring of Electrical equipment thereby ensure improved machine availability and power system reliability.
- To comply with Company Health Safety and Environment Management System (HSE - MS)and also promote awareness among the staff
- To conduct Internal Safety audit of the Installations in the assigned plants including camps with regards to Electrical equipment and develop action plan for area maintenance engineers to take up corrective measures.

- To carry out detailed engineering, prepare scope of work, technical evaluation and execution for Capital, Extra Ordinary Maintenance (ECM) and Major Maintenance (MM) activities.
- To review the existing maintenance practices and support implementation of innovative & modern methodologies for enhanced productivity leading to improvement in MTBF. To ensure optimum utilization of the CMMS (MAXIMO) system for maintaining job history and data quality so as to ensure retrieval of quality information.
- To perform High Voltage switching activities.
- To prepare method statements for critical jobs, verify electrical procedures and instructions, plus scope of work for contract jobs and service work orders.
- To support CD for technical evaluation of bids and inspection of materials on receipt.

2. ELECTRICAL SUPERVISOR

Purpose
To supervise and participate in preventive, corrective and troubleshooting maintenance and testing of all High and Low Voltage plant electrical equipment and shutdown activities.
Main Accountabilities
- To supervise the electrical technicians and contractor craftsmen to ensure that the maintenance activities are performed to comply with Company's HSE policies and procedures.
- To fully utilize the Maximo System to prepare job plans ( Two weeks rolling plan ) including material and manpower, initiate IRs, execute preventive maintenance and breakdowns ( troubleshooting and repairs ) - work orders and input failure reports input to Maximo.
- Accountable for production loss and on call to attend breakdown, identify faults, repair and return equipment to normal operation.
- To prepare PTW based on the periodic PM job plans, allocate work and conduct toolbox meetings to ensure understanding of the daily work tasks.

- To ensure that the drawing and documents are up to date in his assigned area and the maintenance sheets are completed and filed properly.

- To perform overhauling of Motors, MOVs, test and calibration of test equipment.

3. INSTRUMENT & CONTROL ENGINEER

Main Accountabilities
- To coordinate the testing, repairing, calibration and troubleshooting of the Instrumentation Control systems in Company Plant.
- To provide field supervision over the execution of critical maintenance activities of the equipment and ensure that the problems are resolved with minimum down time.

6. PROCESS ENGINEER

- To ensure smooth running of the plant by performing a variety of process engineering duties such as preparing studies, daily/monthly reports, testing & implementing changes in plant operation, and trouble shooting of operating problems.
Main Accountabilities
- To prepare daily performance summaries to monitor plant by studying laboratory test reports, standard log sheets and other daily operating activity reports, and highlights abnormalities and suggests corrective actions to supervisor.
- To collect monthly plant production and operating data, evaluates unit efficiencies by relating chemicals and energy consumption and prepares reports with comments.

Main Accountabilities

- To coordinate studies related to feasibilities, life assessment, obsolescence, upgrades, future strategies & evaluate OEM recommendations related to new technologies to enhance reliability, availability, efficiency & performance of rotating equipment.
- To carry out the studies influencing the future of Gas Turbines require thorough & critical review.
- To provide technical support on rotating equipment to plants, projects & training departments / divisions and to support plant & project divisions in execution of various specialized upgrade/revamp projects.
- To support projects by preparing data sheets / specifications, finalize sizing, layout, estimate capacity & power requirement for rotating equipment & related systems. To evaluate technical offers from bidders, review technical query sheets, vendor documents & attend clarification meetings with project divisions on issues related to rotating equipment

- To prepare Request For Quotations (RFQs) and Purchase Requisitions, evaluate technical offers from bidders, technical query sheets and review vendor documents and attend clarification meetings in co-ordination with project divisions on issues related to rotating equipment

- To support planning engineer with preparation of Long Term Maintenance of Rotating equipment, effective history & record keeping of the rotating equipment and to utilize such records to plan proper replacement of aged parts.
