Hi,

I am a newbie in sharepoint 2010 development and have been given task of creating a public facing site (Catalog site) conceptually similar to http://www.indiamart.com/

I have following questions:

1) how to design this site
2) how to think this site in terms of pages and sites
3) what will be the content types
4) for search , how can metadata be added while adding a product
