One of our client is an anti-DDOS (Distributed Denial of Service) provider established in 2008 in order to meet the growing need to provide a globally distributed, carrier neutral anti-DDOS solution to customers via a fully-meshed network of scrubbing centers. These scrubbing centers feature both commercially available off-the-shelf equipment and proprietary app and are combined with significant network capacity from multiple carriers, to provide massive mitigation capacity.

 

We are now looking for a high caliber candidate to be placed at Hongkong to fill the following position:

Head of Systems Development (code:HSD)

Key Job Duties & Responsibilities

·         To co-work with engineering team and operations team to derive users requirements to develop network processing applications or appliance for deep packet inspection and processing.

·         To lead and manage a team of embedded Linux systems developers.

·         To develop and manage embedded development team processes and work flow.

·         To project manage and derive schedules for embedded systems development projects.

·         To develop user and operation guides for the systems developed.

 

Qualifications / Requirements

• Degree in Computer Engineering or related technical field
• More than 5 years experience in embedded system programming.
• More than 3 years of experience in managing a development team.
• Good Management and leadership skills
• Proficient in Linux kernel development: modules, drivers, patches
• Proficient in Linux application development
• Proficient in C and C++ coding, debugging and testing skills.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking
• Strong understanding of SOAP protocol
• Experience in development of Network Processor systems would be advantageous.
