Cisco Certified Engineer : CCNA and CCNP or CCIP
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
IP Backbone Planning Engineer is to :
IP Backbone Planning Engineer is to :
-Perform and update Detail Network Planning document for IP MPLS Backbone and Transmission DCN (SDH and PDH)
-Coordinate with other related dept (IP Transport Technical sales and sales, IP/PS & CS Planning, Core and Transmission Implementation, Manage Services) and Vendors
-Assist in IP MPLS Backbone and Transmission DCN implementation
-Be part of Project Expansion Tender team to size and estimate capacity of IP MPLS Backbone and Transmission DCN
- Optimize IP Backbone network systems.
The individual is expected to be involved in pre-sales consultancy, tenders and/or network rollout/optimization projects. He/She supports Account Teams/Project Teams/Customers directly to ensure planning related activities, capable to work independently. He/She has a good understanding planning area and a good command of planning tools. Personal capability development and transfer (to customers/own team members/partners) are essential parts of this role as well.
