MAJOR RESPONSABILITIES· To ensure that all safety mandatory procedures are in place, are fully implemented and are regularly audited to make sure that they stay implemented.· To ensure that rationalization and standardization programs are developed for plant equipment, mechanical system, electrical controls, and instrumentations.· To develop and maintain a well structured maintenance organization both in technical and administrative competence to make sure that all equipment is running to capacity and in accordance to design parameters.· To develop, implement and sustain well planed maintenance programs to optimize maintenance uptime and
production top turn.· To optimize manpower utilization.· To develop training for maintenance personnel to improve skills on the operation, maintenance and trouble shooting of all manufacturing equipment· To ensure that all manufacturing equipment is running up to design parameters.· To coordinate with PM the yearly plans to upgrade or replace manufacturing equipment as necessary.· To assist with a budget for major maintenance projects.· To ensure that all relevant best practices are implemented in the maintenance activities.· To ensure that all plant equipment is operating in accordance to both local codes and safety standards.· To allocate monthly maintenance expenditures and to make sure that monthly maintenance expenditures are met.· To make sure that all maintenance Team Leader have in
place an effective program to repair store items to reduce cost.· Create among all associates a culture of zero tolerance to energy leaks of all kinds.
