SALES & E-COMMERCE MANAGER
Responsible for managing the relationship, qualify and evaluate accounts, sales solicitation for group and individual business for rooms, events and food & beverage in general within assigned segments. Generate new accounts and relationship building within assigned segments. Provide sufficient leads to achieve objectives and goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Achieve budgeted room nights and achieve function contribution for the sales department.
• Responsible for producing the weekly, monthly and six monthly groups forecast figures.
• Gathering market and competitive intelligence to conduct a market analysis which will be formulating a OTA revenue strategy and set a rate structure that is in line with other market segments from the rates structure.
• Review of current pricing with recommendation to VP Revenue & Distribution of plans and actions to improve business.
• Identification and profiling of targeted consumer for the hotel.
• Review content on existing contracted OTA's to determine relevance to promoting hotel through extranets/channel manager.
• Determine the list of OTA's in order to formulate a strategy to maximize the impact of utilizing specific OTA.
• Work directly with each OTA representative in the set up and feature property to maximize the opportunities to stimulate ranking on each site.
• Manage existing and future room and inventory of the hotels on OTA via extranets/channel Manager.
• Actively seek out and signup the hotels with the consultation between sales and VP Revenue and Distribution for rates/promotions offer to OTA's which will help drive business and generate increased revenue for the hotel.
• Recommend and assist in designing special and customized promotions for the hotel which will help drive business.
• To work with revenue/property reservation team in making sure that allotment is aligned with the strategy, need period, low season, high season and peak season.
• Assists in preparation of the market analysis, sales goals, marketing plan, special programs and other special reports for hotel management.
Job Profile and Qualifications:
1. At least Bachelor degree in any field
2. At least 2 year experience in sales
3. Strong in inter-personality
4. Proficiency in English communication and computer literate
5. Strong in driving results
6. Strong overall sales skills.
7. Effective telephone communication skills.
8. Broad understanding of function and group room space management.
9. Proven ability in group sales process and related strategies.
5. Understand hotel Ecommerce for OTAs and Booking Engine
6. Maximize revenue by up-selling packages and creative food & beverage.
7. Understanding and achievement of team and individual goals.
8. Understanding of need time strategy as developed by revenue management.
9. Familiarity and knowledge of all departments within the hotel.
