Workplace innovation – The new agenda for Human Resource Management (HRM)

Over the course of the last two decades, we have learned a great deal about how Human Resource Management (HRM) can contribute to improved performance outcomes.  One major challenge that remains however concerns the question of how HRM can sustain better performance outcomes through innovation and adaptation in dynamic organizational settings.  This forms the new agenda for HRM.
In this seminar we examine the linkages between HRM and organizational performance, and consider how organizations can manage people to innovate and adapt to emerging challenges.
