- letter of acknowledgement from a supervisor of the Austrian host University
(Without an acknowledgement from a supervisor of the Austrian host University the application will not be considered)
- short description of study project (2-4 pages, title, content,
methodology, time table) which has been agreed on with the future
supervisor in Austria.
- one letter of recommendation by university lecturers (no specific form
required: they must contain the letterhead, date and signature of the
person recommending the applicant and the stamp of the
university/department and must not be older than six months at the time
of application.)
- Scan of passport
(Page with name and photo)
- Scan of transcripts and graduation certificates of former studies (Diploma, Bachelor, Master, PhD or Doctoral studies)
Advice on how to apply:Eligible for application are:
a) Postgraduates pursuing a doctoral/PhD programme at a university in Indonesia
b) Postgraduates who qualify for a doctoral/PhD programme in Austria
A letter of acknowledgement from an Austrian supervisor is a prerequisite for a successful application.
Maximum age:
35 years or maximum 5 years after graduating from a master course, whichever applies.
Good knowledge of English and/or German for the respective study programme in Austria has to be proved.
Incomplete applications as well as those not complying with the specific
conditions will not take part in the selection process.

Iya nih, saya juga sudah cek. Tapi kalo tidak salah, persyaratan termasuk dokumen2 apa saja yg dibutuhkan untuk beasiswa itu akan keluar tanggal 1 Februari. Agak bingung juga sih masa dari kampusnya apa tidak ada syarat berapa skor TOEFL maksimalnya ya. Mohon di bantu infonya dong Mba Sekar.

For the academic year of 2012/2013 we received 906 applications and a total of 56 scholarships were granted for students from the 12 countries.
The applications are assessed by a selection committee taking into consideration the relevance and quality of the personal motivation letter and CV. Academic merits are already evaluated by the universities in the admission round and is not a criteria for scholarships.
Category 2:
Candidates with citizenship from countries on the DAC list of ODA recipients can apply to this program. Priority will be given to candidates from Algeria, Botswana, China, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Namibia, South Africa, Syria, Tunisia, Vietnam, West Bank and Gaza strip and Yemen.
Candidates with citizenship from the following countries, Albania, Belarus, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Georgia, Kosovo, Moldova, Russia, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine cannot apply to this program.

Submit the payment of your application fee to University Admissions beforeFebruary 1, 2013.
Then apply for a scholarship
The scholarship application period for the academic year
2013/2014 will beFebruary 1-11, 2013.
Please note that your application fee to University Admissions must be paid before you submit your scholarship application to the Swedish Institute.
The eligible study programs for SI scholarships have been selected by the Swedish universities. The list of eligible study programs can be found here.
Please observe that your personal application number retrieved in the confirmation from your study program registration has to be used when applying for a scholarship.

Scholarship benefits and period
The scholarship covers both the tuition fee (which is paid directly to the Swedish university/university college by the Swedish Institute) and living expenses to the amount of SEK 9,000 per month.
The scholarship is only awarded for programs starting in the fall semester 2013 (August) and is granted for of one academic year, i.e. for two semesters at a time. It will be extended for programs longer than two semesters provided that the study results are satisfactory.
The scholarship is designed to cover living costs and study expenses for the scholarship holder. There are no grants for family members. The granted scholarship period cannot be altered or extended beyond the study program period nor can the scholarship be transferred to another study program at a Swedish university.
SI Network for Future Global Leaders
All Swedish Institute scholarship holders are invited to become members of the SI Network for Future Global Leaders – a network that offers unique opportunities during and after the stay in Sweden. Together with other talented people from all around the world, the scholarship holder is able to take part in a variety of events, exchange ideas and create networks that benefit both to career and personal development.
Travel grants
Scholarship holders will receive a travel grant in connection with the scholarship. The travel grant is a one-time payment of SEK 15,000.
Insurance
Scholarship holders are insured by the Swedish State Group Insurance against illness and accident during the scholarship period.

All Swedish Institute scholarship holders are invited to become members of the SI Network for Future Global Leaders – a network that offers unique opportunities during and after the stay in Sweden. Together with other talented people from all around the world, the scholarship holder is able to take part in a variety of events, exchange ideas and create networks that benefit both to career and personal development.
Travel grants
Scholarship holders will receive a travel grant in connection with the scholarship. The travel grant is a one-time payment of SEK 15,000.
Insurance
Scholarship holders are insured by the Swedish State Group Insurance against illness and accident during the scholarship period.

The Swedish Institute Study Scholarships
The Swedish Institute Study Scholarships target highly-qualified students from the countries listed below. The scholarships will be awarded for studies in Sweden, starting in August 2013 and covers both living costs and tuition fees.
The online application form for the academic year 2013/2014 will be open between February 1-11, 2013. No scholarships are offered for the spring 2013 application round.
Countries
The program is open to candidates from two different categories of countries. Please note that if your country is included under Category 1 – you can only apply within that category.
Category 1:
Candidates with citizenship from the following countries: Bangladesh, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mali, Mozambique, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia.
For the academic year of 2012/2013 we received 906 applications and a total of 56 scholarships were granted for students from the 12 countries.
The applications are assessed by a selection committee taking into consideration the relevance and quality of the personal motivation letter and CV. Academic merits are already evaluated by the universities in the admission round and is not a criteria for scholarships.
Category 2:
Candidates with citizenship from countries on the DAC list of ODA recipients can apply to this program. Priority will be given to candidates from Algeria, Botswana, China, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Namibia, South Africa, Syria, Tunisia, Vietnam, West Bank and Gaza strip and Yemen.
Candidates with citizenship from the following countries, Albania, Belarus, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Georgia, Kosovo, Moldova, Russia, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine cannot apply to this program.
Citizens from Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine can only apply within The Visby Program.

Iya nih, saya juga sudah cek. Tapi kalo tidak salah, persyaratan termasuk dokumen2 apa saja yg dibutuhkan untuk beasiswa itu akan keluar tanggal 1 Februari. Agak bingung juga sih masa dari kampusnya apa tidak ada syarat berapa skor TOEFL maksimalnya ya. Mohon di bantu infonya dong Mba Sekar.

Selain 3 itu beberapa universitas yang tergabung dalam UAAP juga patut dicoba karena mereka equivalent dengan ivy league disana.
1. Universitas Pontifical Santo Tomas ( universitas modern tertua di asia yang didirikan 1650 )
2. Delasalle University
3. University of Asia and The Pacific.

Dear Gabriela,
Menurut saya untuk IBT yg bagus buku dr ETS edisi yg terbaru. Selain dibuat langsung oleh pembuat tesnya, buku itu juga dilengkapi oleh practice tests yg diambil dr test yg sdh lewat dan tambahan materi yg sgt lengkap untuk writing.
Selain itu, Cambridge IBT juga bagus. Soal2nya cukup tough.
Jgn pakai Baron. Tidak rekommended. Longman Paper Based cukup bagus, terutama dibagian structure. Tapi untuk longman IBT cenderung terlalu mudah.
Dan benar, faktor lain yg juga penting adalah latihan. Kondisikan latihan seperti real test sehingga km terbiasa. Karena test bukan hanya masalah pengetahuan tapi juga pengenalan terhadap format test tsb.
Saya baru aja menyelesaikan tes toefl saya 2bln yg lalu. Dgn menggunakan 2 buku yg saya sebut diatas. Skor saya 97.

Menurut saya untuk IBT yg bagus buku dr ETS edisi yg terbaru. Selain dibuat langsung oleh pembuat tesnya, buku itu juga dilengkapi oleh practice tests yg diambil dr test yg sdh lewat dan tambahan materi yg sgt lengkap untuk writing.
Selain itu, Cambridge IBT juga bagus. Soal2nya cukup tough.
Jgn pakai Baron. Tidak rekommended. Longman Paper Based cukup bagus, terutama dibagian structure. Tapi untuk longman IBT cenderung terlalu mudah.
Dan benar, faktor lain yg juga penting adalah latihan. Kondisikan latihan seperti real test sehingga km terbiasa. Karena test bukan hanya masalah pengetahuan tapi juga pengenalan terhadap format test tsb.
Saya baru aja menyelesaikan tes toefl saya 2bln yg lalu. Dgn menggunakan 2 buku yg saya sebut diatas. Skor saya 97.

mnurut saya buku IELTS dari cambridge sudah bagus. saya latihan dari buku terbitan cambridge, alhamdulillah berhasil mencapai target skor yang diinginkan.. :) tapi akan lebih membantu kalau kamu ikut preparation dulu, supaya bisa dapat tips n triknya, setelah itu latihan intensif dari buku.

Agnes Nauli Sianipar yang juga anggota milis ini namun tidak terlalu
aktif. Saat ini saya sedang sibuk mengerjakan beberapa proyek doktoral
(bidang Cognitive Neuroscience) di Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen.
Berkaitan dengan hal ini, saya baru menyadari bahwa belum ada database
psikolinguistik untuk Bahasa Indonesia. Padahal dalam bahasa-bahasa
lain, banyak database serupa dibangun dan digunakan secara masif oleh
peneliti dari berbagai ragam ilmu hayati dan sosial. Saya rasa kita
semua sepakat bahwa Bahasa memegang peranan penting bukan hanya dalam
komunikasi namun juga dalam memahami proses kognitif dan pembelajaran
pada manusia/pembicara, baik itu pada populasi normal dan klinis.
Karenanya saya berniat untuk membuat database Bahasa Indonesia yang
bisa diakses semua orang. Namun untuk itu saya membutuhkan partisipasi
anda semua. Saya sangat berharap anda bersedia membantu pembangunan
database ini dengan mengisi kuesioner yang saya buat.

boleh melamar asalkan program studi yang akan diambil berbeda dengan program studi sewaktu kuliah S1, namun sama dengan bidang pekerjaan yang ditekuni saat ini).
Untuk semua program, termasuk program Fulbright-DIKTI, tidak ada keharusan bagi pelamar untuk melampirkan surat penerimaan (letter of admission) dari universitas di Amerika. Para staf dosen/guru pengajar bahasa Inggris juga dapat memanfaatkan kesempatan menjadi
asisten dosen bahasa Indonesia atau Jawa di bawah naungan program Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) program.
