Dear alumnus,
As you probably know, VLIR-UOS grants every year about 16 scholarships to valuable candidates for our MSc. programme in Physical Land Resources. Since October 2012 onwards students can apply for the VLIR scholarship to start their studies in the academic year 2013-2014.
Since your country of origin (INDONESIA) is on the country list for VLIR-UOS scholarship, we would be grateful if you could forward this information to all valuable candidates you know who may be interested to follow our MSc. programme in Physical Land Resources.
Please find below the admission requirements and the link for electronic application for Physical Land Resources. Attached you will also find our leaflet with detailed course information.
Admission requirements
Each application will be evaluated by a board of admission of the specific programme and has to be approved by the Faculty Council and by the Rector's office.
General Entry conditions
Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years with good overall scores (at least a second upper class or equivalent) from a university or recognized equivalent.
Specific academic admission criteria
Applicants are expected to have a basic science training in (1) mathematics or statistics and (2) chemistry or biochemistry, and an overall academic education background in a relevant discipline like (either) agriculture, biology, forestry, environment, land and water management, physical geography, geology or civil engineering. Relevant research or working experience of about 2 years is recommended but not a prerequisite, unless the former field of study (degree obtained) was not directly relevant for or pertaining to soil science or land resources engineering.
Specific language requirements
The applicant must be proficient in the language of the course or training programme, i.e. English.
The English language proficiency can be met by providing a certificate (validity of 5 years) of one of the following tests:

The following applicants are exempted from providing the language certificate:

Coba pertanyaannya di tulis lebih lengkap dulu, misalnya dapat beasiswa nya dari univ apa? lembaga apa (stuned kah), untuk study kapan (mendesak nggak), dst. Anda khan calon MAHA-siswa ,,
Beberapa beasiswa (general, bukan NL secara specific) memang mensyaratkan uang tiket sendiri, termasuk biaya mengurus visa, tapi kalau ada "uang persyaratan" 5 jt, belum pernah saya dengar. Harap hati2 dan minta penjelasan dari agen pemberi beasiswa nya, utk apa 5 jt tsb. Baiknya cari di web jg, apa ada kasus yg sama (dimintain uang persyaratan 5jt)

Mbak Veni,
Tahun ini merupakan tahun ketiga saya apply ADS. Tahun pertama, saya gagal
masuk shortlist dan menerima informasinya via surat/pos. Tahun, kedua, saya
masuk shortlist dan menerima informasinya via email, lalu beberapa kemudian
menerima via pos/surat. Dikirim via email dulu mungkin agar kandidat dapat
melengkapi dokumen2 yg dibutuhkan berikutnya.
Jadi harusnya, baik yg masuk maupun yg tidak masuk shortlist, akan menerima
pengumumannya via surat/pos.

Untuk ke Jepang, ada satu kampus yang menerima transfer kredit, alias ekstensi..
Yaitu APU Ritsumeikan University. APU menerima transfer kredit baik itu bagi 2nd year students, maupun 3rd year students.
Mengenai beasiswa, silahkan nanti ketika mendaftar maupun sudah diterima bisa mengajukan beasiswa ke pihak kampus.
