We are currently looking for Software Programmers, junior / senior and have 2+ years of work experience. We are also open for candidates who are fresh graduates as well, as long as their skills are quite advanced with Java and PHP. The job will require maintenance and administrative work on the website, as well as development, improvement, network, and security. Due to the startup nature of our company, we require individuals to be flexible with their work as well as being able to communicate in a teamwork environment or in an initiative-driven work schedule.
Job Description:
- Develop website templates and web applications and ensure strong optimization and functionality.
- Work on projects including web layout enhancements, desktop applications, website enhancements, web-based applications, and database-backed websites.
- Code web pages utilizing CSS and XHTML and programming languages including JavaScript, SQL and JSP/PHP and combinations of languages for instance AJAX.
- Interact with servers using SSH, FTP and Telnet protocols.
- Work in a variety of development frameworks including WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, etc.
- Analyze, review and modify web systems by designing, maintaining, documenting, testing, developing and monitoring.
Job Requirements:
- HTML and CSS skills to a high standard
- Knowledge of JSP/PHP and SQL programming is favorable
- Knowledge of OOP and Java programming
- Knowledge of API and Web Services (json and XML)
- Experience with mobile application development will be a big plus.
- Good understanding of template system in WordPress
- Knowledge of other popular platforms is favorable
- JavaScript (specifically JQuery) skill to a high standard
- Broad knowledge of Internet and social media
- Candidate must be a team player and willing to teach and to learn
