We use information management policy, under list settings. Set up a workflow based on a workflow status or a column in the list, then have the information management policy run it weekly ( or whatever interval you set )
it send reminders to IT, managers and such ( diffrent list , one schedule ) about help requests still pending, expense reports still pending and such..

SharePoint 2010 stsadm -o restore tempdb

Hi All,
Just want to verify what happens when performing an stsadm -o restore from one farm to another with respect to the tempdb.
Assuming that I am restoring a 35Gb content db to a new SP2010 farm, do I need to account for 70Gb of space for this operation? 35Gb for the new content db and 35Gb for the tempdb?
Thanks!
