Indonesia Focus 2013 Conference
Pittsburgh, November 1-2, 2013
INVITATION
ASIRPA (Asian Society for International Relations and Public Affairs) http://www.asirpa.org/ in collaboration with Permias Pittsburgh currently organize an annual interdisciplinary conference called Indonesia Focus 2013, which is going to be held in November 1-2, 2013 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The topic for this year is "The role of Human and Social Capital in Indonesia Economic Growth." We envision this conference to give contributions to following important concerns in Indonesia such as the effect of education and health policy on human capital investment and how anti-corruption law, good governance, and market regulations interact with cooperation, trust, and reciprocity. We organize this conference into two main sessions, plenary session by invited speakers and parallel sessions by about 30 presenters from the US, Indonesia, and other countries.
To brings this topic up for interesting talk and discussion, we already confirmed 4 (four) plenary speakers as follows:
1. Dr Bambang Parmanto (School of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences, University of Pittsburgh)
2. Dr Danet Suryatama (ElectrikCar LLC)
3. Dr Mauren McClure (School of Education University of Pittsburgh)
4. Dr Wimboh Santoso (Executive Director of IMF)
