Check if SPD2010 allows you to pass in the following as destination URL.

javascript:void(0)

More details at:

Subject: [sharepointdiscussions] rollover image hotspot message SP2010?

I am trying to get a message pop-up when you hover over a part of an image WITHOUT specifying a "go to" URL.

Am using SPD2010, it insists on a click thru URL.

Any way to do this without going to Jquery???

I usually just list the current page as the click thru in this case. The
rollover works and if the user does click the image then it just refreshes
the current page.
