SP2010 CKS:DEV Deployment

Has anyone deployed CKS:DEV to their SP2010 farm? I'm having problems, and searches for CKS Dev deployment return results for deploying custom solutions with the tool, rather than deploying CKS itself to the SP farm.

I believe you can use the Access database via BDC. However, why not upsize
it to SQL Server? Just a thought.
