Immediate opening for J2EE Administrator - Singapore
Number of Positions : 2 Position (Direct Contract role with Client + 13th month + bonus)
Location : Singapore
Responsibilty:
• To provide 24x7 support
• To provide a guideline and to administer Sun Application and Web Server for a centrally hosted environment shared by multiple project teams
• To streamline work processes so that different project teams can work effectively on and share the same environment
• To assist in setting-up/verifying the UNIX application environment
• To assist application team in debugging application by using in-house tools and monitoring applications
• To provide best practices so that the application files and logs can be maintained and house kept
• To support in application deployments for building new systems and upgrading and patching existing ones.
• To provide useful guidelines that will make the process of deployment more efficient
• To develop Unix scripts and tools for configuration and monitoring
• System capacity planning and proactive maintenance, and analyzing development server performance
• Creating and maintaining documentation in support of infrastructure and coordinating and scheduling environment upgrades
Technical skills:
• Sound knowledge on Sun Java System Application Server 8/9 and Sun ONE Web Server 6.1
• Good understanding of Operating system environment like Sun Solaris (SunOS 5.10)
• Shell scripting
