Assistant Finance Manager for oil and gas industry

CGGVeritas is a leading geophysical services company providing worldwide services to the oil and gas industry. As part of our business growth strategy, we are seeking to develop talent for the position of an Assistant Finance Manager for the Jakarta Office.

The incumbent would be responsible and accountable for applying company's principles of accounting and procedures (IFRS, US GAAP, IND GAAP) to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports on timely manner by compiling information and utilizing accounting control procedures. In addition, the Assistant Finance Manager is required to manage and supervise financial and taxation affairs of the local company on day to day basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and complete financial reports and its supporting schedules on timely manner.

Maintain and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.

Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions.

Prepare monthly account reconciliations and Resolve accounting discrepancies.

Interact with internal/external/tax auditors/consultants in completing audits/returns.

Supervise the input and handling of financial data and reports for the company's automated accounting package (Oracle).

Plan, manage, monitor and report monthly cash flow activities

Plan, manage, monitor and report monthly local tax payments/reporting and group as well.

Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal control.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance

A minimum of 8 to 10 years of Accounting/Finance experience

Familiar with SOX, IFRS, PSAK and Indonesian Taxation

Good working knowledge of Oracle Accounting Software will be an added advantage

Ability to meet tight deadlines
