expertise of :

MANUFACTURING ENGINEER (CONTRACT) – Salary :  £18 per hour

Role :

-         
The interpretation of customer's technical specifications,
shop liaison, resolving production and quality issues.

-         
Implementing cost reductions through the use of "Lean"
manufacturing techniques throughout their planning procedures.

Main Tasks:

o       
Support
the bid process

o       
Support
the customer during the design stage with concurrent engineering.

o       
Produce
Routings, Bills of Material, and Build instructions from customer documentation
to the specified requirements.

o       
Determine
the tooling required.

o       
Generation
of data and acquisition of all tooling.

o       
Support
the manufacturing process.

Participate
in continuous improvement.

 

Skills

Authorities

Possess an Aerospace / Engineering Apprenticeship or
equivalent and be qualified to ONC level with relevant experience in sheet

Knowledge of Helix drafting, Baan operating system and
Catia an advantage;

Are prepared to work in a cost sensitive production
environment which demands a high level of skill and self motivation;

Good communication skills and the ability to work on their
