Tak ada manusia yang sempurna. Mencari pribadi-pribadi kreatif,
tangguh, dan menyukai tantangan memang tidak mudah. Apalagi untuk ikut
berkecimpung di tengah kancah pertarungan industri buku yang konon
kabarnya makin sengit saja.
Namun kami percaya, setiap orang bisa menjadi pribadi-pribadi jempolan
bila diberi kesempatan dan peluang. Untuk itulah, kami, Penerbit
Grafindo, mencari pribadi-pribadi kreatif, tangguh, dan menyukai
tantangan untuk mengisi posisi-posisi sebagai berikut:
1.EDITOR (8 Orang)
Anda harus berumur di bawah 30 tahun, kreatif, energik, dan pantang
menyerah. Tugas Anda adalah mengejar naskah-naskah berkualitas, dari
sumber-sumber yang terserak di berbagai tempat, dan siap dengan
tingkat persaingan yang ketat. Anda haruslah seseorang yang mengerti
buku, mengerti proses menerbitkan buku, dan gaul dengan orang-orang
buku. Anda haruslah bermental pemburu, bertanggung jawab, bisa
dipercaya, dan setidaknya pernah di dunia penerbitan buku umum minimal
1 tahun. Menulis dan menyunting naskah? Itu adalah makanan sehari-hari
Anda. Anda juga harus tahu mana naskah yang bagus dan mana yang tidak,
mana naskah yang berbau rupiah dan mana naskah yang berbau sampah.
Anda harus peka, bisa meraba ke mana arah tren perbukuan dan siap
menjadi orang yang menciptakan trend-setter itu. Anda tentu saja orang
yang siap bekerja dengan target dan deadline ketat.
2.CREATIVE DESIGNER (3 Orang)
Anda harus berumur di bawah 30 tahun, kreatif, energik, pantang
menyerah, dan memahami dasar-dasar book design. Tugas Anda adalah
mengemas buku, merancang buku mulai dari konsep sampai pracetak. Tugas
Anda adalah menciptakan produk-produk yang bisa menggaet pembeli dalam
sekali lirik. Anda haruslah seseorang yang mengerti bagaimana mengemas
buku, mulai dari buku anak, buku remaja, wanita, umum dan populer,
keislaman, pendidikan dan referensi, sampai buku pemikiran. Anda wajib
menguasai aplikasi komputer untuk design seperti mengerti Pagemaker,
In-Design, Photoshop, Corel Draw, dll. Anda setidaknya pernah di dunia
penerbitan buku umum minimal 1 tahun Anda mampu menggunakan PC atau
MAC. Anda tentu saja orang yang siap bekerja dengan target dan
deadline ketat.
