We are one of the leading suppliers of commodity raw materials and related services to coffee roasters, chocolate manufacturers, and cotton textile mills worldwide.  ECOM is an origin integrated company, which is focused on buying from producers at origin, providing primary processing, logistics and risk management services, and selling to the branded product manufacturer.  This strategy allows ECOM to act as the sole intermediary and an integrated supplier. ECOM is privately held with annual revenues of approximately $3 billion.

 

PT Indo CafCo is currently seeking a results-oriented individual to fill the following position based in Indonesia (Medan):

Maintenance /  Mechanical Supervisor

Perform mechanical and engineering work for the company, coffee processing equipment operation and monitoring as well other duties related to maintenance, mechanical engineering and fabrication in a factory environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitors operation of plant equipment and systems to ensure that there are no breakdowns or disruptions in the production processes
• Conducting regular inspection and maintenance of all the machinery in the facility
• Ensuring that all safety norms and regulations are adhered to
• Planning maintenance and service activities in a way that the process of production does not get hampered
• Keeping a record of all service, maintenance and refurbishing works carried out on the machinery
• Ensuring that the machinery and equipments are being used to full capacity and that production is optimum
• Design, and fabricate equipment internally or monitor external fabrication contractors
• Providing feedback and suggestions for process and equipment improvement.
• Providing engineering training and technical assistance to the department.
• Supervises plant maintenance personnel
• Assisting Support personnel on implementations.

 
EDUCATION, PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE, AND SPECIALIZED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

·         University Degree with minimum 3 years of mechanical and or electrical engineering experiences

• Candidates has experiences working for a Manufacturing company and has solid understanding/knowledge about mechanical and electrical engineering
• Ability to design and fabricate metal structures.

• Ability to create and manage a maintenance schedule
• Willingness to be hands on
• Physically fit
• Local recruitment only (Medan - Indonesia), relocation will not be facilitated.
